Rebecca founded Essential Maintenance with a clear intention: to build a practice where clients feel genuinely informed, not just treated.

With over a decade of experience in skin and hair, she has built a reputation for knowing her craft deeply and sharing that knowledge freely. Every appointment includes the kind of explanation most people have never been offered elsewhere — what your skin is doing, why, and what will actually help.

This is not a place where you leave with a product pushed at you or a course of treatments you didn't ask for. It is a place where you leave understanding your own skin a little better.

Hair Removal / Sugaring

Hair removal at Essential Maintenance is approached the same way everything else is: through the lens of skin. What that means in practice is less irritation, better results and someone who actually explains what they're doing and why.

Sugaring

The original. A natural paste applied by hand, removing hair in the direction of growth for less breakage, less reaction and longer-lasting smoothness. Suitable for all skin types, all body areas.

Electrolysis

Permanent hair removal using precision diathermy — the only method with FDA-approved permanent results. Works on all skin tones and hair colours. A consultation is included before treatment begins.
